Dean's Research Scholars 2005 |

The 'real world' relationships QUT Law Faculty has with law firms was again highlighted when Allens Arthur Robinson hosted the 2005 Dean's Research Scholars Ceremony on 10 August 2005 . Ken MacDonald, Executive Partner, Energy Resources and Infrastructure from Allens Arthur Robinson, welcomed everyone and said this event again highlighted the relationship between the firm and the QUT Law Faculty. Stephen Corones, Assistant Dean Research QUT, spoke about the importance of continued research and mentioned the example of Michael May, one of the recipients who, as a current undergraduate student, had already began a research project. Michael Lavarch, Dean Law Faculty QUT, also encouraged the scholars to further their studies for their own benefit and their importance to QUT in terms of it's reputation as a research institute.
