The Dean’s Research Scholars scheme is designed to foster a research culture among undergraduate law students with a view to encouraging a greater number to continue to postgraduate research.  The scheme involves identifying top students who form a pool of research assistants for staff and who receive specialist instruction in research.

The Dean’s Research Scholars award is intended to be an honour and reward for the Faculty’s top students, which also may assist them when marketing themselves to future employers.
